Napa Day Trip / by

With more than 400 unique vineyards and more Michelin stars per capita than any other wine region in the world, you could never spend enough time in Napa Valley. One of my favorite day trips from San Francisco, I've yet to even make a dent in the total (around 20 now) -- but hey, all the more reason to keep trying! This week's Napa day trip was in tandem with some friends of Zipkick, including stops at Spring Mountain, lunch to-go from Palisade's (amazing sandwiches to grab + enjoy at a nearby vineyard) and a serene picnic in the gazebo at Chateau Montelena. For an extra nature break on the way home I stopped at Old Faithful Geyser just outside Chateau Montelena gates. The geyser erupts 30+ ft. in the air every 30 minutes or so and has a little petting zoo to occupy your time while you wait -- definitely worth a pit stop if you're in the area!
